craniosacral therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle yet effective whole body approach to wellness. It influences the central nervous system, brain and spinal column and can affect very deep and primary patterns. After listening through the hands to reveal the body’s subtle rhythms and any patterns of inertia or congestion the practitioner uses subtle palpatory skills to help facilitate healing and balance.

deep tissue massage

Deep tissue massage employs deliberate and focused touch to access the body’s fascia and deep muscle tissue. This curative and feel good body therapy is recommended for all bodies, and is especially great for people involved in intense physical activity, those that suffer from chronic pain, and individuals who have sustained severe injury. Although the treatment can be intense the lasting relief from tension and pain will provide unmatched ease in movement.

thai yoga massage

A traditional massage of Thailand, this treatment is experienced wearing loose fitting clothing on a soft mat on the floor. The practitioners body weight is used to create assisted yoga asanas and stretches, while simultaneously applying gentle pressure to shiatsu points. Mobilizes joints, loosens muscles, releases tension, and rebalances the body.

reflexology

Reflexology is an ancient, natural technique to restore proper circulation of blood, balance emotions, and remove blockages throughout the body. A session addresses the hands and feet where nerve endings are located and every organ and body part in the human body is mirrored. Clients find overall relaxation and rejuvenation in this powerful healing therapy.

rolfing

Structural integration aligns and balances the body by lengthening and repositioning the fascia. As fascia is lengthened it allows the muscles to move more efficiently. A structural integration practitioner will apply pressure to the body, working the entire fascial system in a systematic way. When restricted fascia is released and lengthened the body can return to its structurally optimal position. When a body is aligned and balanced it moves with greater ease and requires less energy to function. Good posture is effortless and breathing is easier. The body becomes more flexible, more coordinated and athletic performance improves.
